PulseUp for Runners

PulseUp tracks running, walking and cycling with GPS-based distance and pace, and lets a Crew follow each other's run live on a shared map.

Cardio tracking on PulseUp

PulseUp tracks outdoor and indoor cardio sessions — running, walking and cycling — with distance, pace and calories calculated from the phone's GPS and sensors. Every session is saved to the athlete's training history alongside their strength workouts, in the same app and the same XP and streak system.

On top of solo tracking, Live Cardio lets a runner start a session and invite their Crew to join in real time, seeing everyone's position and pace on a shared map until the session ends.

How it works

A runner starts a cardio session from the app, and PulseUp records the route using the phone's GPS along with distance, pace, duration and calories as the session happens. Apple Health and Health Connect can sync heart rate, active energy and steps automatically alongside it.

For Live Cardio, a runner starts a session and invites their Crew; as each person's run, walk or ride progresses, everyone in the session sees the group's live positions and pace on one shared map, with a live leaderboard ranking pace in real time.

Every completed cardio session earns XP toward a level the same way a strength workout does, and can extend a training streak or unlock a distance-based achievement.

Who this is for

Runners, walkers and cyclists who want their cardio tracked precisely and connected to the rest of their training — with the option to run alongside a Crew instead of alone, whenever they want to.
