PulseUp for Coaches

PulseUp gives personal trainers a Coach Workspace to build training programs, assign them to their own athletes, and track every session — inside the same app their athletes already use.

What is the Coach Workspace?

The Coach Workspace is PulseUp's dedicated area for verified personal trainers. It's unlocked after submitting a professional registration (CREF in Brazil) and its issuing council for review, and it's separate from the athlete experience — a coach's students keep using the same app they already have, and receive the coach's programs directly in it.

Inside the workspace, a coach manages a roster of athletes, builds programs from a real exercise database, and reviews exactly what happened in each assigned session — set by set.

How it works

A coach builds a program with a step-by-step wizard: program details, weekly schedule, each workout's exercises, sets, reps and rest, then a full review before assigning it. Every program created this way is automatically saved as a reusable template.

Coaches can also start from a recommended template catalog, organized by goal, experience level and weekly frequency — any catalog template forks into the coach's own editable copy before it's assigned.

Once assigned, an athlete receives the program with a defined start and end date. As the athlete trains, the coach's dashboard shows coaching stats (total and active athletes, completed workouts, training time), and each athlete's profile shows their level, streak, and full session history — including real weight and reps logged against what was prescribed.

Who this is for

Verified personal trainers who want to manage their coaching business — building programs, assigning them, and tracking results — without maintaining spreadsheets or a separate app their athletes would need to install.

How this fits into PulseUp

The Coach Workspace runs on the same account system, exercise database and workout-logging engine that every PulseUp athlete already uses — a coach's program shows up in an athlete's normal workout flow, with no separate athlete-facing app to install or learn.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be a verified personal trainer to use the Coach Workspace?
Yes. You submit your professional registration (CREF) and its issuing council; verification is reviewed before program creation is unlocked.
What happens if my verification gets suspended?
Existing athletes and programs stay active, but creating new programs is blocked until you're reactivated.
Can I edit a template from the recommended catalog before using it?
Yes. Shared catalog templates always fork into your own copy — editable in name, exercises, order, sets and rest — before you assign it to an athlete.
Do Coaching Moments show workouts from other app users?
No. Only moments from athletes you personally assigned the workout to show up.
Can I message my athletes directly?
Yes, through a dedicated coaching thread separate from personal chat.
