PulseUp Radar

PulseUp Radar is a daily wellness check-in that combines how you say you feel with your real training data — turning it into a 6-axis radar chart and one overall Pulse Score.

What is PulseUp Radar?

PulseUp Radar is a dashboard that shows your current balance across six dimensions — Mind, Sleep, Nutrition, Recovery, Physical and Performance — plotted as a radar chart, with an aggregate Pulse Score and balance factor summarizing all six at once.

Rather than only tracking how hard you trained, Radar is meant to surface when you're overtraining or under-recovering by combining self-reported wellness with the training data PulseUp already has about you.

How it works

Once a day, you can complete a short Pulse Check-In, rating your Mind, Sleep, Recovery and Nutrition on a simple 1–5 scale. Completing a check-in awards a small XP bonus, once per day.

Your Physical and Performance dimensions aren't self-reported — they're computed from data PulseUp already tracks: your workout streak, your weekly recap stats, and (when connected) your Apple Health or Health Connect sleep duration.

All six dimensions feed into a single Pulse Score and balance factor, so you get one number for "how balanced am I right now" instead of six numbers to interpret separately.

You can open your check-in history at any time to see how each dimension has trended over previous days.

Who this is for

Any athlete on PulseUp who wants a fuller picture of their wellness than workout stats alone — especially anyone worried about overtraining, inconsistent sleep, or recovery, not just about hitting a workout streak.

Two of the six dimensions (Mind, Sleep, Nutrition and Recovery from the daily check-in, Physical and Performance from training data) are visible to every account; four of the six require PulseUp Premium to fully unlock, with new accounts getting a 30-day free trial to try the full dashboard.

How this fits into PulseUp

Radar is accessed from a quick action on the PulseUp home screen and slides in as its own panel — it doesn't replace your workout log, it sits alongside it. It reuses the same streak, weekly recap and XP systems as the rest of the app, so completing a check-in feeds the same progress loop you already have from training.
