What is PulseUp?
PulseUp is a fitness platform that connects training, athletes, challenges and community in one experience.
What is PulseUp?
PulseUp is a fitness app for people who train, alone or with others. It combines personalized workout plans, workout and cardio tracking, gamification — XP, levels, streaks and achievements — and social training features like Crew, Party Workout and a shared feed, in a single application for iPhone (Android is coming soon).
The app also includes dedicated workspaces for fitness professionals: a Coach Workspace for personal trainers to build and assign training programs to their athletes, and a Nutritionist Workspace for building meal plans with calorie and macro targets.
How does PulseUp work?
An athlete creates an account, follows a personalized workout plan, and logs sets, reps and weight for every exercise as they train. Outdoor and indoor cardio — running, walking and cycling — is tracked with distance, pace and calories.
Every completed workout earns XP toward a level. Training on consecutive days builds a streak, and reaching a milestone unlocks an achievement. From there, an athlete can form a Crew with friends, start a synchronized Party Workout together, join a Live Cardio session on a shared map, or post to a social feed.
Personal trainers and nutritionists use a separate workspace inside the same app to manage their own athletes or patients — building programs or meal plans, reviewing each person's history, and messaging them directly.
Who can use PulseUp?
PulseUp is built for three groups: athletes who want to track and gamify their own training, personal trainers who manage a roster of students, and nutritionists who build and track meal plans for patients.
All three exist inside the same app — an athlete being coached by a trainer or guided by a nutritionist doesn't need a separate app to receive their program or plan.
